Scorpions are one of the longest touring rock bands in the world. Hailing from Germany, the band has been actively touring since 1972, and five decades later, they’re still at the top of their game. Scorpions have completed 22 world tours, and they recently wrapped up their successful Sin City Nights Las Vegas Residency. Moreover, the band has performed thousands of shows in over 80 countries, and they show no signs of stopping anytime soon. Scorpions just released their 19th album, Rock Believer, with critical acclaim. The record is preceded by singles, “Peacemaker,” “Rock Believer,” “Seventh Sun,” and “Shining of Your Soul.” Upon its release, Rock Believer debuted at number 2 on Billboard’s Top Hard Rock Albums and number 9 on the Top Rock Albums chart. Like all their other releases, Rock Believer is supported by a massive headlining tour around the world, which includes 24 dates in North America.
Special guest Whitesnake is a rock legend in their own right. The band has penned some of the most iconic classic rock hits, including “Here I Go Again,” “Is This Love,” and “Still of the Night.” The English rock band, led by frontman and former Deep Purple member David Coverdale, is on its last tour and will bid farewell to their fans on this 2022 run. Coverdale, who is well in his early ‘70s, vowed to continue releasing new music even after they say goodbye to life on the road.
Lastly, the all-female Swedish rock quartet Thundermother joins the show at the Toyota Center. The band is currently promoting their fourth studio album, Heatwave, which features singles, “Dog from Hell” and “Driving in Style.”
