Rauw Alejandro born Raúl Alejandro Ocasio Ruiz in 1993, is one of the hottest acts on the scene. He is part of "the new generation" of Puerto Rican urban musicians and is known as the "King of Modern Reggaeton." In 2020, he unveiled his first studio album, titled Afrodisaco. He released Vice Versa, his second studio album, in June of 2021, with the single "Todo de Ti" as the album's lead single, and from a total of twelve nominations, he took home two Latin Grammys for his work.
His musical parents gave him the inspiration he needed to jump into the music scene, learning from artists like Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, and even Chris Brown. In addition, the r&b and dancehall scenes in Miami and New York City were major influences on Rauw. He combined all of this incredible culture into a melting pot and created his signature style, which people love him for.
